Lendmark Financial Services (Lendmark), a valued client of GOLDPoint Systems, raised $2,100,000 in donations for CURE Childhood Cancer, an Atlanta-based nonprofit research group "dedicated to conquering childhood cancer". GOLDPoint Systems is grateful to be a sponsor of such a worthy organization created to fight against Childhood Cancer.

“We rallied all our stakeholders again to help us raise funds and awareness, and I’m incredibly proud of everybody who has participated this year by making a difference in lives of children, particularly those who are fighting against pediatric cancer", said Bobby Aiken, CEO of Lendmark Financial Services.  “We always remember that the greatest gift of all is the giving of the gift, and when we can give life to a child by doing our part to fight, that’s an exceptionally special gift.”

Under the visionary leadership of Bobby Aiken, Lendmark has become an incredibly committed partner in the fight against childhood cancer.  The annual Climb to Cure campaign emphasizes community action.   This initiative promotes employees, partners and customers in 22 states, transforming a corporate fundraiser into a widespread effort to combat childhood cancer.

“Lendmark Financial Services’ extraordinary support is such a driving force in our fight against childhood cancer. Their efforts truly ignite breakthroughs, provide a lifeline to families, and bring us closer to a future where no child suffers from this devastating disease,” said Kristin Connor, CEO of CURE Childhood Cancer. “This incredible partnership exemplifies the profound impact of corporate compassion, making tangible differences in young lives every day. We are deeply grateful for Lendmark's commitment, which empowers us to push boundaries in pediatric cancer research and provide crucial support to families in their most challenging moments.”

Lendmark is a leading provider of consumer loan solutions and an unwavering advocate of “Climb to Cure”. Lendmark continues to fight back against childhood cancer, which is the second leading cause of death by disease in children aged 1 to 14.

This household lender plans to raise another $1.17M in 2025 to reach its "$10M in 10 Years" fundraising goal, thanks to its 2024 campaign supporting the fight against pediatric cancer.

At CURE, their mission is to conquer childhood cancer by funding targeted research that will save lives and give survivors their best quality of life. Their research objectives are twofold. First, focus on research that will lead to more effective treatments for children within two to three years. Secondly, to prioritize research aimed at addressing recurrent and hard-to-treat cancers for which no effective treatment exists.

CURE provides targeted pediatric cancer research while assisting patients and their families. Researchers report that only six drugs have been developed and approved for children, despite cancer being the leading cause of death by disease in children. CURE is committed to enhancing survival and long-term outcomes through precision medicine and other hyper-focused research initiatives. More than 17,000 children in the United States and 400,000 worldwide are diagnosed with cancer each year. Although research has brought the overall survival rate above 80%, cancer remains a leading cause of death by disease for children. Treatments for many pediatric cancers are decades old, and even when a child does survive, they are often forced to deal with debilitating side effects long after they are cancer-free.

Over the past twelve years, CURE has invested $45 million in innovative research, leading to significant discoveries and treatment options. CURE is a leader in advancing precision medicine for children, investing $14 million in precision medicine initiatives since 2017. Additionally, CURE is investing more than $5.6 million annually in research efforts at top pediatric institutions nationwide.

Since the inception of Climb to Cure in 2015, Lendmark and their sponsors have donated $8.83M to CURE, and are now on track to achieve the goal of raising $10 million by 2025 to commemorate Lendmark's ten-year partnership with CURE. All fundraising efforts have helped CURE advance its precision medicine program, which genetically sequences cancerous tumors in children as well.

This year’s campaign, which ran from May through July of 2024, centered on giving time, talent and donations at Lendmark’s nearly 520 branches across 22 states and three corporate offices through a variety of events and activities from employees, customers and business partners. GOLDPoint Systems is appreciative of our relationship with Lendmark and proud to be a business partner for CURE in 2024.

Lendmark’s dedication provides hope and real change for families battling childhood cancer and demonstrates the extraordinary possibilities when passion meets determination. Lendmark received the prestigious Ragab Spirit of Hope Award at this year's, "Believe Ball", an annual gala held by CURE. This honor acknowledges not only their financial contributions, but also the culture of caring they have embraced throughout their organization and beyond.
