GOLDPoint Systems’ 2025 In Review: Last Year’s Development Highlights

2025 was a big year for GOLDPoint Systems (GPS) and its clients. We continued the march towards our all-Web future, servicing a ton of loans and making our clients a ton of money along the way. We began rolling out our browser-based loan servicing software to our clients as well as leaning more heavily on latest General Ledger product. Other new services introduced in 2025 include:

  • A new Solar Winds ticketing system for submitting client questions, work requests, and feedback.
  • A new browser-based app that allows users to take photos of documents and collateral and attach them directly to loan applications.
  • Our web based consumer portal now allows digital wallet payments via Google Pay and Apple Pay.

Additionally, 2025 was a great year for enhancing our existing services. In continuing an annual tradition, we combed through last year’s releases to list just a few of the many major development highlights made possible by GOLDPoint’s hardworking employees in 2025:

  • We gave our clients the option to configure their own rules and parameters for allowing deferments. We have worked to make this configuration intuitive and flexible, while still meeting the needs of our users.
  • Multiple payment transactions have been enhanced with the option to generate “alternate” receipts for the payer. These receipts display less information than standard receipts and are designed for instances when the payer is not authorized to view full account information.
  • We have created a new account level option that will lock down the loan due to litigation disputes. When applied to a loan, this code adds a “XB” Compliance Condition Code (account's information is currently being disputed by the consumer under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)) to the loan's month end credit report. We also added security settings to prevent unauthorized viewing of a loan’s litigation information and history.
  • We overhauled our system’s application of Credit Bureau Comment Codes at month end credit reporting. The new setup gives our clients greater control over when Comment Codes are applied automatically, when they should only be applied manually, and when they drop off the credit report.
  • We have created a new bulk transaction for canceling originated insurance policies and refunding the unearned premium amount as of the cancellation effective date. This allows many policies to be cancelled at once.
  • We created a new amortization method for insurance commissions that is calculated based on the insurance policy term rather than the loan term. This new method will allow daily earnings on insurance commission to the General Ledger, even though the policy effective date and policy term do not match the loan effective date and loan term.
  • We created a new bulk upload option that allows institutions to submit a list of loan accounts to a secure ftp for quickly changing interest rates on multiple accounts. While processing, the system will accrue interest at the old rate up to the Effective Dateindicated in the file, then change the interest rate on all indicated loan accounts and begin accruing at the new rate from that date onward.

At GOLDPoint Systems, we're constantly enhancing our services, and you can learn more about these and many other customer service innovations by contacting your GPS account manager, submitting a Solar Winds ticket, or requesting a demo. All signs point to 2026 being another productive and lucrative year!
