GAIN 2022: Bigger and Better Than Ever!

Last month we had our annual GAIN conference, and it was amazing! This year proved to be the best yet. Not only did we get to experience the majestic mountains of Snowbird, but we had the privilege of mingling with some pretty incredible people as well. If you weren’t able to come this year, or if you simply want to relive some of the glory, here are some of the highlights.

Record Attendance

I don’t know if it was the change in venue or the end of the pandemic, but 2022 brought a lot of people out to GAIN. We had 62 people representing 23 of our clients at Snowbird this year. We all had a great time.

Excellent Sponsors

Not only did we have record attendance from guests this year, but it was a banner year for sponsorship as well. We had 10 sponsors bring 16 of their representatives to meet with attendees and build new relationships. We are so excited to be able to partner with these sponsors, which allows GOLDPoint Systems to bring our clients even more options.

An Awe-Inspiring Venue

This year GAIN was held at the Cliff Lodge in Snowbird, one of America’s most iconic ski lodges. While the mountains are beautiful during the ski season, they are absolutely breathtaking in September. Everywhere you look there are trees, wildlife and towering mountains. At 8,100 feet above sea level, Snowbird is genuinely something else. Simply walking outside in the crisp autumn air to appreciate the natural beauty of the surrounding mountains made this a truly memorable experience.

Adrenaline-filled Activities

Whether you were twisting and turning down the Alpine Slide, racing around curves on the Mountain Coaster, or riding the gondola to 11,000 feet above sea level, your heart was definitely pumping. The activities at GAIN in 2022 were not for the faint of heart. You may not remember the class on consumer lending ten years from now, but you’ll certainly remember the thrill you felt when doing any one of these activities.

Incredible Classes

There were so many instructive classes at this year’s GAIN. The Deep Dives into the Automated Workflow Engine and APIs were incredibly powerful. Learning how to tie insurance products into loans was enlightening. Seeing what's possible with Pay-by-Text and Mobile Solutions was game changing. Listening to the future of The Lending Engine was exhilarating! There were too many great classes for me to do each of them justice here, so all I’m going to say is that they were all fantastic.

Fabulous Forums

A GAIN Conference wouldn’t be complete without great forums where we can all get together and talk about the most important items affecting our industry. This year we focused on indirect consumer lending, direct consumer lending, IT and vendor relationships. Forums are such a great way to share our knowledge with each other and figure out solutions--they always tend to produce such terrific synergistic energy.

Networking Opportunities

Once again, GAIN offered many opportunities to network with others in our industry. One of our main goals at GAIN is to give our clients the ability to build and foster strong relationships with others in the lending industry, valuable vendors and the amazing people at GOLDPoint Systems, of course. This year’s GAIN did just that. There were socials, group activities, meals, forums, meet & greets and the final banquet, all of which provided opportunities to make connections and build your network.

As you can see, GAIN 2022 really was bigger and better than ever before! Let’s see if GAIN 2023 can top it.
