Did You Know GOLDPoint Systems Also Services Deposit Accounts?

A lot of GOLDPoint’s marketing and documentation space is devoted to loan servicing because that’s the major focus for most of our clients. Loans are also inherently more complex and regulated, so naturally we spend more time talking about them and log more hours keeping them running behind the scenes. However, GOLDPoint does in fact provide a smaller (but no less robust) suite of services for institutions who service deposit accounts as well.

The Deposits tab of the Help Center provides an at-a-glance preview of our deposit services:

Follow the links on that tab in the Help Center for more detailed information about each of these services, which are briefly explained below:

  • A library of Deposit Reports is available much in the same way that GOLDPoint Systems provides loan reports. Some reports are available online while others are available through afterhours processing. These reports are available on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and year-end basis or as required by the report requested. For example, reports are available to provide information on:
    • Large balance accounts
    • Account analysis
    • Customer-directed transfers
    • Exception items
    • Retirement plans
    • Service charges
    • Year-end statements
    • And much more!
  • Deposit accounts are primarily serviced in CIM GOLD, which is GOLDPoint’s main account management software. Within CIM, many functions are available, including:
    • Managing account information and viewing account activity
    • Managing commercial checking services
    • Processing customer-directed transfers from the account
    • Placing holds on account funds
    • Setting up overdraft accounts
    • Defining product codes
    • Managing rate tables and rate tiers
    • Managing retirement accounts
    • And many others!
  • GOLDPoint processes Year-End Reporting for its deposit customers as well as its loan customers. Remember that completed year-end forms must be submitted by October 31st each year.
  • Platform is a program that streamlines the process of opening and managing new deposit accounts.
